Consulting and Workshops
Dr. Edward Trimis is available for consulting on a wide range of topics from developing and rebuilding music and arts programs in schools to while-school transformation. Dr. Trimis is also available to present workshops to students, teachers,, administrators, and school faculties on music theory, jazz improvisation, and more.,
Leadership Coaching
Dr. Trimis works with the Association for California School Administrators as a coach supporting school administrators including principals at various schools in Los Angeles.
Jazz Improvisation
Dr. Trimis recently worked with the Louis Armstrong Middle School Jazz Ensemble, and the Madison Middle School Choir, (2023).
Music Theory
Dr. Trimis recently worked with the advanced music theory class at the California State Summer School for the Arts (2023). Trimis has also worked with the College Board as an AP Music Theory Consultant for several years.
School-Wide & Arts
Dr. Trimis recently consulted with Archbishop Riordan High School in San Francisco as they were restructuring their Music Department (2022).
Music Commissions
Dr. Trimis is available to arrange/compose music for most genres and musical groups. He has arranged/composed music for Crescenta Valley High School, Rosemont Middle School, Legacy VAPA High School, and others..
Dr. Trimis has led workshops and consulted for Louis Amstrong Middle School, John F. Kennedy High School, City of Torrance Academy Program, Rosemont Middle School, Gaspar de Portola Charter Middle School, Reardan High School (San Francisco), Mercy High School (San Francisco), the Western Association of Schools and Colleges/Accrediting Commission for Schools, the California State Summer School for the Arts, The College Board/Educational Testing Service, Association of California School Administrators, California Music Educators Association, and others.
